Starting out, we strongly recommend having 3-5 guests at a workshop. TRUST US. We paid dumb tax when I thought, "We are experienced so we can have more." Nope. Don't do it. In this business model, it is about QUALITY, not quantity.

How is the doTERRA In Home Workshop Experience Different? You:

  • Have a more personal checkout process going over their wellness needs. This takes time and can even be done the following day to spend the time necessary for a good consult.

  • Focus on creating Loyalty Rewards customers.

  • People spend more $$

  • You schedule a time in the next 7-10 days to follow up with them in person or on Zoom to go over what they purchased and show them how to log into their account. Because you are more personally serving these customers, it's easier to start with fewer at your workshops. Remember, less is more!

Essential Oil Basics

How Do Customers Purchase With doTERRA?

Customers Can Purchase In 1 Of 3 Ways:

Check out the THREE ways customers can purchase. With options #2 and #3, customers have the option of placing one time orders whenever they'd like OR getting on the monthly Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP). The LRP program allows them to get POINTS back that they can use on future orders to save up to 30% points back on the WHOLESALE amount (allowing the customer to earn up to 55% off their order).

Message I Send People Who Ask How To Purchase:

You have choices for how you purchase. There are three ways with doTERRA:

1. Retail

2. Wholesale: 25% off retail

3. Below Wholesale (get a customer kit for additional savings below wholesale)

Option 2 and 3 allow you to order wholesale (25% off) at any time. Those two options also allow you to do the Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) where you get points back on your purchases PLUS free products. Over time, this allows you to get an additional 30% points back BELOW wholesale on your purchases. Details are in the attachment below.

Process For Enrolling And Caring For Customers: 4 Steps

Step 1: Have them ATTEND a class. You can also do a "One to One" with them. Prioritize them attending a class. There's stronger retention when customers begin with this foundation.

Step 2: Have your FIRST wellness consult with them. If they are at an in home class or a "One to One," do this AT the class before they leave or within the next 24 hours by phone or zoom. If they are at an online class, do a phone call or zoom within 24-48 hours after the class (check the survey results to see when they are available). This consult focuses on the health needs of them and their families. You help them prioritize where they'd like to focus first for their health, help them get their order complete and schedule their SECOND wellness consult for 7-10 days later.

Step 3: Once they get their order, have the SECOND Wellness Consult. This one focuses on what they got in their order and how to use it. Do this in person or on zoom so you can also log into their account and show them HOW to place orders moving forward. Show them how to set up an LRP, as well as their referral link.

Step 4: 2-3 weeks later, check in by phone or VOICE message to find out how they are liking their products.

How To Enroll A Customer

After you have done step 1 and 2 above, you'll have an order. Either take their order and set up their account for them OR give them a link to a shopping cart so they can set up their own account and place their own order.

When a customer has a 100PV or more for their first order, give them a Welcome Packet.

Consider giving them a gift of samples in a cute little bag. Options could include: PB Assist JR, Breathe drops, OnGuard drops, Deep Blue sachets, Toothpaste samples, etc. This is a great way to thank them for enrolling AND for them to try additional products!
